🍀Fleeting, Not Forever: A Journey Through Nature

FLEETING, NOT FOREVER

Nature, to me, is not just a place —
it's a feeling.

A soft breath in a world full of noise,

a quiet hand on the shoulder

when everything else feels loud.

When I walk into a forest,

I feel uncaged.

The silence speaks louder than cities.

When I sit by the sea,

I feel waves inside me —

like it understands , what I don’t know how to say.

When the sky paints itself in fire,

in pinks and golds that slowly retire,

I remember —

there is beauty in endings too.

Yes, nature speaks.
She whispers “slow down” through a drifting breeze.
“Let go,” she says

as autumn leaves fall with ease.

She reminds me I am enough,

even in stillness —

like a quiet lake

that holds the sky without trying.

She makes me feel

I am part of something vast,
ancient, and wild —
a story older than names.

If I could take you to my favourite place,

it would be to the edge of a sunset —

where the sky blushes

as if it knows

it’s being watched.

To watch a sunset

is to witness the sky shedding its pride —

dressed in gold,

in silence,
in goodbye.

Maybe that’s why I love them —

they show that not all endings are sad.

Some are soft, and full of light.

If I were allowed to do anything,

I’d be a traveller —
barefoot through wildflowers,

wandering mountains that speak in silence,

getting lost in forests

just to find myself again.

No maps,

no clocks —

just heartbeats and horizons.

I wouldn’t chase destinations,

only moments —

raw, quiet, and real.

Because we’re fleeting,

not forever.

But nature —

she stays.
